Campbell was injured during the first quarter of Ohio State’s 39-38 win against No. 7 Penn State. Meyer said Campbell was “dinged up” during a play early in the comeback victory. He was absent from last Saturday’s 55-24 loss to Iowa and did not travel with the team. In his place, running backs Mike Weber and Antonio Williams handled the kickoff return duties, and H-back K.J. Hill served as the starter at the position with C.J. Saunders filling in as the backup.Meyer said Campbell’s return will be important for his team moving forward considering the impact he has on the game.“Obviously, he’s one of the best kick returners in America, and he’s such a tough guy and good kid that anytime he’s not out there it hurts, like any player,” Meyer said. The Buckeyes will kick off against the Spartans at noon Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
